Opis

Location: Gotland Island, Sweden.

Job description:

• We are currently looking for an experienced Chef to join a summer restaurant on Gotland Island, Sweden;
• Working in a busy seasonal restaurant serving up to 200–300 lunches and around 100 dinners per day during peak season;
• Preparing steaks and other à la carte dishes;
• Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef;
• Preparing food according to recipes while maintaining high quality and hygiene standards;
• Cooperating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a Chef;
• Experience with steaks and à la carte cuisine;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Good communicative English;
• Swedish language is an advantage;
• Good physical condition;

We offer:

• Seasonal employment from mid-May until the end of August 2026;
• Swedish self-employed contract model;
• Salary starting from 21 €/hour (gross), increasing to 23 €/hour (gross) for candidates with more than 10 years of documented experience and two references;
• Minimum 40 working hours per week, with additional hours available during the peak season;
• Free accommodation;
• Paid travel to and from Sweden;
• Paid 14-day probation period;
• Assistance with documentation;
